UPDATE: 9/5/2014 – An officer accused of several sex crimes while on the job bonded out of jail Friday morning.

Earlier this week a judge reduced the bond for Daniel Holtzclaw, an Oklahoma City police officer.

Holtzclaw is facing several criminal charges following an investigation that lasted several months.

During traffic stops on the city’s northeast side, Holtzclaw is accused of forcing several women to perform sexual favors.

So far, eight alleged victims have come forward.

According to court records, the sexual assaults began back in February and ended in June of this year.

Following the alleged assault in June at N.E. 50th and Lincoln, Holtzclaw got pulled off patrolling the streets.

Holtzclaw is on paid leave while the case is being investigated.

Holtzclaw was originally being held on a $5 million bond.

However, a judge reduced that bond to just $500,000 on Wednesday afternoon.

As part of his bond agreement, Holtzclaw will be put under full house arrest with GPS monitoring.

Authorities say he will only be allowed to go to his attorney’s office and court proceedings.

He will also be forced to turn in his badge, police uniforms and guns.

Holtzclaw will also not be allowed to have any contact with the victims.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities with the Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed that an officer is under investigation for lewd acts.

Chief Bill Citty, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, called a news conference at 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

During the news conference, he announced that Officer Daniel Holtzclaw is under investigation for assaulting several women on the job.

However, officials say all the crimes happened during traffic stops while he was working in the northeast part of Oklahoma City.

Holtzclaw was hired in 2011 and was an officer in the Springlake Division.
